Rep. Grim Hosts Press Conference to Announce Over $19M to the University of Toledo
Funding was granted through the State Capital Budget

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) held a press conference this morning regarding the allocation of $19M to the University of Toledo thanks to her support of House Bill 2, the state's record-setting $6.2B biennial state capital budget.
"Rockets get things done! From unleashing the power of solar energy to shaping the future of medicine, our University of Toledo is leading innovation and shaping the next generation of doers. I’m proud to deliver $19 million in Ohio’s capital budget for improvements," said Rep. Grim.
These funds will be used for a variety of infrastructure improvement projects, including:
- Carlson Library renovations
- Electrical system enhancements
- Weatherproofing of buildings
- Mechanical system improvements
