Rep. Grim Applauds New Projects in NW Ohio to Create 319 New Jobs
COLUMBUS – State Representative Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today made the following statement following yesterday’s announcement of eight projects approved by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority and JobsOhio. Two of the projects approved are expected to bring 145 new jobs to Toledo, while an additional two projects in Northwest Ohio are expected to create an additional 160 jobs.
“Ohio workers deserve quality, good-paying jobs to support their families and their communities. The tax assistance projects announced will bring hundreds of jobs to Northwest Ohio and spur millions of dollars in investments across the region,” said Rep. Grim. “The decision to invest in these projects reinforces Northwest Ohio’s status as a manufacturing leader in the state.”
The approved projects in NW Ohio include:
- P.M. Electro Auto Inc., Toledo – Expected 100 full-time positions.
- New Horizons Baking Company LLC, Toledo – Expected 45 full-time positions.
- GVS Filtration Inc., Findlay – Expected 74 full-time positions.
- Tekni-Plex Inc., Van Wert – Expected 100 full-time positions.
