Rep. Grim Applauds Committee Passage of Keith G. Earley Memorial Interchange
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim’s (D-Toledo) bill honoring former Lucas County Engineer Keith G. Earley, who passed in 2021 after a battle with cancer, advanced today during a committee vote. House Bill (HB) 54 received unanimous support from the House Transportation Committee.
“I am grateful that House Bill 54 honoring Keith Earley passed out of committee today. Keith served as Lucas County Engineer with distinction, and his dedication to the people of Lucas County cannot be overlooked,” said Rep. Grim. “The projects he worked on have benefited thousands of residents.”
HB 54 designates the interchange between I-475 and Dorr Street as the “Keith G. Earley Memorial Interchange.” Mr. Earley started the interchange project in his final years as Lucas County Engineer. HB 54 now awaits a vote on the House Floor.
