COLUMBUS – State Rep. Michele Grim (D-Toledo) today announced that the City of Toledo has received a $25,000 Certified Local Government Grant from the Ohio History Connection. The funds will be used to develop official Style Guidelines for the administration of the Old West End Historic District.
“I am thrilled to see the influx of funds into the preservation of the charming Old West End Historic District. I look forward to continued efforts to maintain the various homes and commend the City of Toledo for their dedication to historical spaces,” said Rep. Grim.
The development of official Style Guidelines will establish consistent guidelines. This will ultimately save homeowners money when applying for environmental changes, streamlining the process for the issuing of Certificates of Appropriateness.
