Rep. Lawson-Rowe Announces $72K for Rickenbacker Lighting Upgrades

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Meredith Lawson-Rowe (D-Reynoldsburg) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $72K for lighting upgrades at Rickenbacker Ohio Air National Guard Base in Franklin County.

“I am excited to announce this important funding that will be directly invested for the benefit of House District 5,” said Rep. Lawson-Rowe. “These funds will provide much needed lighting upgrades at Rickenbacker, ensuring that they continue to function as a state-of-the-art, top military base in Ohio and our nation.”

This specific project will upgrade lighting base wide to more energy efficient lighting with higher color rendering index. This will provide better work environments and safe outdoor conditions at less cost HID (high intensity discharge) site light fixtures with energy efficient LED (light emitting diode) or HEL (high efficiency lighting) technology.
