Rep. McNally Announces $32,450.33 for Mahoning County Sheriff's Office for Marine Patrol Assistance

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced that the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) awarded the Mahoning County Sheriff’s Office $32,450.33 in Marine Patrol Assistance Grants. These grants were awarded to police and sheriff departments on Lake Erie and the Ohio River to enhance on-the-water safety efforts and help local partners better serve Ohioans on the water. This grant will support local agencies who keep waterways safe and welcoming.

Rep. McNally Announces $85,883.51 for Youngstown State University Updated Technology and Tools

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced that the Ohio Controlling Board approved $85,883.51 in funding to Youngstown State University (YSU) to purchase Portable Measurement Tools Learning System, a UV 3D printer, and Virtual Welding equipment.

Reps. McNally, Lampton Introduce Bill to Promote Veterans Benefits on Posters

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) and Brian Lampton (R-Beavercreek) Monday announced the introduction of a new piece of bipartisan legislation meant to bring awareness of programs for veterans, allowing certain employers to display an informational poster regarding benefits and services offered for veterans.

Rep. McNally Announces $30K to Mahoning Valley Sheriff's Office in RecoveryOhio Funding

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced that the Mahoning Valley Sheriff’s Office has received $300K in grant funding from the RecoveryOhio Law Enforcement Fund. This program is meant to support local drug task forces and aid in their work to disrupt the drug trade and promote substance use awareness, prevention, and recovery.

Rep. McNally, CWA Host Press Conference Urging State to Protect Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) and members of Communications Workers of America Union (CWA) hosted a press conference at the Statehouse to share important updates to the Broadband Equity, Access, and Deployment (BEAD) Program.  The Bipartisan Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act provided nearly $800M in federal grants to provide Ohio the opportunity to build broadband infrastructure and help decrease the digital divide across the state. Currently, 15% of Ohioans do not have access to the internet.
