Rep. McNally Shares Resources for Those Affected by SOBE Bankruptcy, Loss of Service
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today shared resources for those affected by the SOBE Thermal Energy Systems LLC. SOBE’s assets were repossessed and 27 downtown buildings, including two buildings with 90 residents, lost heating, cooling, and hot water. While local officials, the receiver, PUCO, and others are working on a long-term solution to this issue, Rep. McNally wanted to share resources with those affected by this issue.
“While I am so grateful that these buildings now have heating, cooling, and hot water, I am so disappointed that it ever came to this. We do not know what the best long-term solution will be yet, but I wanted to share resources with Youngstown constituents who were affected by this, everyone deserves a little help in these unplanned situations,” said Rep. McNally.
