Rep. McNally Announces House Dems Calls on Governor DeWine to Veto Anti-Economic, Anti-Workers' Rights Senate Bill 1

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) Wednesday, along with other members of the Ohio House Democratic Caucus today sent a letter to Governor Mike DeWine respectfully requesting he veto Senate Bill (SB) 1, the Higher Education Destruction Act.

“I signed onto this letter because I believe that SB 1 is wrong for Ohio. I hope that Governor DeWine listens to the hundreds of Ohioans who submitted opponent testimony, the representatives who signed onto this letter, and the thousands of people who have called, emailed, and wrote in sharing their disapproval to SB 1,” said Rep. McNally.

In trying to solve problems that do not exist, SB 1 creates new issues that will increase costs, stifle growth, and prevent Ohio’s young adults from reaching their full potential.
