Rep. McNally announces committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS- State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) released the following statement today on her Ohio House of Representatives committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly:

“It’s an honor to be entrusted with committees that are impactful to the area of the state I represent,” said Rep. McNally. “These assignments, most especially the Finance Committee, are a big responsibility and commitment. It will require a lot of work and focus down at the Statehouse, but at the same time will give our region a powerful voice in the decisions being made there. I’m excited to give our community that voice.”

Rep. McNally will serve on the following committees:

· Commerce & Labor (Ranking Member)

· Agriculture

· Economic & Workforce Development

· Families & Aging

· Finance (Ex Officio)

· Finance Subcommittee on Health & Human Services (Ex Officio)

“I’m already reaching out to organizations and community leaders whose priorities will align with the bills that flow through these committees,” said Rep. McNally. “I am open to meeting with anyone with great ideas, and would encourage others to make contact with my office.”
