Rep. McNally Announces $92K for Security Camera Upgrades at Youngstown State University
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Lauren McNally (D-Youngstown) today announced the Ohio Controlling Board approved $92,000 in funding for Youngstown State University to install new security cameras across campus. The upgrades will enhance safety measures and improve monitoring capabilities for students, faculty, and visitors.
“Campus safety is a top priority, and these upgrades will help ensure that students and staff feel secure while focusing on their education,” said Rep. McNally. “This investment is another step toward creating the most safe and welcoming environment at Youngstown State.”
Youngstown State University serves thousands of students each year and is a cornerstone of the Mahoning Valley’s higher education community. The installation of new security cameras will allow the university to modernize its safety infrastructure and better respond to incidents.
