Rep. Humphrey Says Real State of the State is Ohioans Deserve Better

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Humphrey (D-Columbus) today responded to Governor DeWine’s State of the State address:

“Governor DeWine made some great statements during his address that my colleagues and I wholeheartedly agree with. I thank him for his continued support of returning citizens to ensure they have a fair opportunity to secure a stable livelihood. While progress has been made in this area and others, we must continue to fight so all our communities, especially the most vulnerable, are included in the solutions. As your representative, I will continue to fight for policies that prioritize fairness, access, and opportunity for all Ohioans—because a stronger state is one that leaves no one behind,” said Rep. Humphrey.

House Democrats are committed to making sure people deserve better: better pay, better healthcare, fairer taxes, safer communities, real opportunities, and a future where no one is held back.
