Rep. Ritter Highlights Biennial Ohio House High School Student Art Exhibition Awardee

State Representative Kevin Ritter (R-Marietta) today recognized Lily Paris, a District 94 high school student whose artwork was selected to be included in the House of Representatives High School Student Art Exhibition. 

“The arts are an important part of education,” said Ritter. “I am pleased to see the next generation of Ohio’s artists developing their talents, and I congratulate those who were selected for the exhibition, specifically Lily Paris from the 94th District.” 

This biennial art exhibition showcases the creativity and talent of high school students from all 99 House districts and is on display in the hallway connecting the Vern Riffe Center and the Ohio Statehouse.

The House High School Student Art Exhibition was established in 2016 under the 131st General Assembly. High school art teachers from across the state are invited to submit their students' art for consideration by the Ohio Arts Council, which helps select pieces featured in the exhibition and works in partnership with the Ohio Art Education Association on the project.
