State Rep. Brent to speak at Imagination Library Press Conference

COLUMBUS—State Representative Juanita Brent (D-Cleveland) will be joining First Lady Fran DeWine in Warrensville Heights to provide remarks on the launch of the Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library.

“I am extremely excited to have the First Lady come to my district for the launch of such a great program,” Rep. Brent said. “The Imagination Library will have an incredible impact in the community. This is how we keep the Ohio Promise by keeping families first.”

The Ohio Governor’s Imagination Library will:

• Foster and strengthen family bonds by having parents read to their children and vice versa,
• Provide an alternative for families who simply cannot make it to a library due to a lack of access to public transit,
• Eliminate the financial barrier of having to buy books,
• Increase child readiness for entering kindergarten,
• Benefits all Ohio children regardless of geographic location or economic status.
