Rep. Brent Celebrates Earth Week

COLUMBUS – State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) last week released the following statement on Earth Week:

“Environmental justice must be addressed in Ohio,” said Rep. Brent. “Ohio must improve soil health (HB 669, 134 GA), protect our water, prioritize entrepreneurship for BIPOC in the green economy (HB 429, 134 GA) and incentivize recycling for businesses, municipalities, homes and schools. Ignoring these issues will shorten life expectancy and increase the chance of developing cancer, respiratory and other issues.”
