Democracy Prevails as Ohioans Defeat Issue 1

COLUMBUS- State Rep. Juanita O. Brent (D-Cleveland) yesterday praised the citizens of Ohio for their overwhelming support in defeating Issue 1 during the August 8th Special Election.

“Issue 1 defeat shows that Ohioans do not agree with the $20 million mistake Republicans General Assembly members made,” said Rep. Brent. “Ohioans will not be fooled into weakening their own voice. Ohio has spoken. We are keeping our Democracy.”
