Williams to Serve as Majority Whip in the 136th General Assembly

COLUMBUS – State Representative Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Twp.) took the oath of office Monday for his second term as a member of the Ohio House of Representatives, where he will serve on Speaker Matt Huffman’s leadership team as a majority whip. He represents the 44th House District, which includes portions of Lucas, Wood and Ottawa counties.

“It is an honor to serve my constituents of Lucas County once more,” said Williams. “I look forward to serving the people of Wood and Ottawa counties with the expansion of my district and I am honored to serve the people of Ohio as a member of leadership in the 136th General Assembly.”

Williams sponsored 28 pieces of legislation last general assembly. He was sworn in during Monday’s session, which marked the beginning of the 136th General Assembly.
