Rep. Williams Applauds Ohio's Parenting and Pregnancy Program Awardees
State Representative Josh Williams (R-Sylvania Twp.) today announced that nearly $20 million in grant funds have been awarded to 21 nonprofit organizations across the state through Ohio’s Parenting and Pregnancy Program, according to the Ohio Department of Children and Youth.
Three of the 21 awardees are from Rep. Williams’ district and are listed as follows:
- Compassion Health Toledo - Toledo
- Baby University - Toledo
- The Hospital Council of Northwest Ohio – Toledo
“These grants are an investment in life, family, and the future of our communities,” said Williams. “By expanding support for mothers and babies, we’re not only providing critical resources in a moment of need — we’re empowering families to thrive long-term. I’m proud to see organizations in our district leading the way.”
House Bill 96 – Ohio’s State Operating Budget – included an increase in funding for this program, supporting thousands of mothers and babies across the state. To learn more about this program and the other awardees, click here.
