Rep. Miller statement following surge of COVID-19 cases in Ohio
COLUMBUS – State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) issued a statement Thursday following the news that Ohio reported 2,425 new COVID-19 cases over the last 24 hours, a new record and the seventh day in the last week with over 2,000 new daily cases, according to the Ohio Department of Health.
“As Lorain County transitions back to red today, we need to continue wearing our masks and practicing safe social distancing. Take it from me, as I am still experiencing the lingering effects of COVID-19 almost 4 weeks from becoming infected. Everyone experiences symptoms differently, and you never know how this virus could impact you and your family. The best thing we can do right now is to remain vigilant and courteous to those around us. We are in this together.” said Rep. Miller
