Rep. Miller announces district office hours

State Rep. Joe Miller (D-Amherst) today announced upcoming district office hours in Lorain and Amherst. All residents of House District 56 are encouraged to attend and share questions and concerns related to state government.

“There’s no better way to understand the needs of our citizens than to hear directly from them,” said Miller. “I’m looking forward to holding these regular community meetings to learn more about my neighbors and how I can best serve you and your family at the Statehouse.”

Rep. Miller will host “Cup of Joe with Joe” at Brew & Stew in Lorain on Friday, March 22 at 8:30 a.m.

This is an excellent opportunity for local residents and business leaders to meet and share their ideas, comments, questions and concerns with Rep. Miller regarding all things relating to Ohio state government.

Rep. Miller will also hold joint office hours alongside state Sen. Nathan Manning (R-North Ridgeville) on Monday, March 25 at the Amherst Library at 5:00 p.m.

“This is a unique opportunity for Lorain County residents to get both parties’ and both chambers’ perspective on issues facing our neighbors,” added Miller.

“Office hours are an opportunity for me to connect with constituents in the communities where they live, work and raise their families,” said Manning. “Effectively serving as your voice in the Ohio Statehouse requires, most importantly, a commitment to listening and understanding your concerns. Together, we can develop solutions that make our communities and state better for everyone.”

These events are free and open to the public, and no appointment is necessary.
