COLUMBUS - The Ohio House of Representatives passed House Bill 509 last week, legislation to revise and streamline occupational licenses in Ohio.
As a co-sponsor, and as a Nurse Practitioner, Representative Gross supports reducing barriers to occupational licensing. Reducing barriers is key.
“The ability and desire to enter a profession should not be clouded by unaffordable education or excess training. This legislation will better accommodate the state’s workforce, stated Representative Gross (R-West Chester).”
H.B. 509 now heads to the Senate for further Consideration.
