Gross Stands in Opposition to The Ohio State University Mandating the COVID-19 Vaccination
With the recent announcement of The Ohio State University implementing COVID-19 vaccine mandates on their students, State Rep. Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester) is standing in opposition to this recent mandate.
Gross is the sponsor of HB 248, the Vaccine Choice and Anti-Discrimination Act. Gross has heard concerns from parents on the recent vaccine mandate at The Ohio State University and is urging the importance of supporting HB 248.
“The decision to receive any vaccine should be a personal choice,” said Gross. “We cannot allow the COVID-19 vaccination to become a barrier to those advancing their education,” Gross added.
“Tragically, the freedoms of students are now being encroached upon as they are now being forced to choose between their personal healthcare choices, and their education,” Gross added. “It is our duty to protect the freedoms of our Ohio students. The time to act is now!”
