Economic Development Project Approved for Assistance in Butler County

COLUMBUS – The new Mattr US Inc. location in Fairfield, Ohio was recently approved for a 1.28%, six-year Job Creation Tax Credit by the Ohio Tax Credit Authority (TCA), announced State Rep. Jennifer Gross (R-West Chester).

It is predicted that the location will create 48 full-time positions and retain 26 full-time positions as a result of the assistance. Mattr US Inc. designs, manufactures, protects, and manages critical assets for customers in the industrial, automotive, and oil/gas industries.

“I am pleased Mattr US Inc. chose Fairfield as its next home and that it is receiving support which is beneficial to Ohio’s workforce,” said Gross.

The TCA approved assistance for a total of four projects which are expected to create 781 new jobs and retain 156 jobs statewide.
