Schmidt Issues Statement on Door-to-Door Vaccine Efforts

COLUMBUS – State Representatives Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland) today issued the following statement regarding door-to-door vaccine efforts:

“I fully believe that the federal government should not interfere in state affairs, particularly when dealing with COVID-19. 

“A door-to-door vaccine program, especially if using a list of people who aren’t vaccinated, is a serious encroachment on States’ Rights and the rights of fellow Ohioans. Our state is handling COVID-19 how we believe is best for Ohioans. 

“I urge Governor DeWine to push back on this program and not allow any state resources to be used on these efforts.
