Ohio Department of Transportation to Install Critical Stoplight in Milford

COLUMBUS—The Ohio Department of Transportation last week announced the installation of a stoplight that will be strategically located close to the new Milford Middle School building, announced State Rep. Jean Schmidt (R-Loveland).

Specifically, the stoplight will be located at Eagles Way and 131 in Milford to help with traffic flow when entering or exiting the middle school campus and ensure student safety.

“When the Superintendent of Milford Schools brought this traffic issue at S.R 131 to my attention, I realized the need for the traffic light,” said Schmidt. “The safety of our children will always be priority. This light is a necessary step in helping our students exit the school campus safely. I am grateful ODOT listened to the community.”
