State Representative Gayle Manning Announces $67,482 Worth of Funding to North Ridgeville Complex Fitness Trail
Funding to support the Shady Drive Complex Fitness Trail in North Ridgeville has been approved, State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announced today.
The $67,482 approved by the State Controlling Board supports a six-foot wide asphalt trail with fitness equipment. The funding is through the state’s NatureWorks program.
“One of the things I’ve always liked about the NatureWorks program is that it supports locally-developed, locally-driven projects,” said Manning. “This is a project that will benefit the community.”
The NatureWorks competitive grant program helps local communities with parks and recreation projects. This round of funding supported 85 projects in 66 counties.
NatureWorks grants provide up to 75 percent reimbursement assistance to local agencies for parks and recreation projects.
