Manning Honors Avon Football Team at Statehouse

COLUMBUS – State Representative Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) honored the Avon High School Football team at the Ohio Statehouse Wednesday. 

Manning presented the team with a resolution after the Eagles won the Ohio High School Athletic Association Division II State Championship, beating Anderson High School 20-13. 

“These student athletes deserve to be recognized for their tremendous season and the athletic effort it took to go undefeated,” said Manning.

It is the first state football championship for the Eagles.
