Manning Announces LCCC and Local Infrastructure Funding

State Rep. Gayle Manning (R-North Ridgeville) announces that the state Controlling Board approved funding going towards Lorain County Community College (LCCC) and for a local infrastructure project. 

“These investments will continue to advance our community, and I’m thankful to the members of the Controlling Board for passing these local measures today,” said Manning.

Specifically, the two measures include:

• $480,000 allocated to the Lorain County Treasurer’s office to be used for infrastructure maintenance of the Charles Berry Bridge in Elyria, Ohio
• $36,386 for LCCC campus network infrastructure upgrades

The Controlling Board passed the two measures and several others at today’s meeting. Last month, Manning also announced the Controlling Board passing significant COVID-19 relief for local schools across the 55^th House District.

The next Controlling Board meeting will take place Sept. 14.
