Rep. Click Showcases Tourism in Ohio
State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) today announced that Ohio’s tourism industry welcomed over 240 million visitors in 2024, supporting thousands of local businesses and attractions across the state, generating over $57 billion in revenue, according to the Ohio Department of Development.
“Sandusky and Seneca Counties offer unparalleled opportunities for tourism in Northwest Ohio,” said Rep. Click. “A quick glance at sanduskycounty.org or destinationsenecacounty.org will tell you everything you need to know.”
From national parks and historical monuments to beloved local restaurants, wineries, museums, and more, Ohio offers an incredible variety of destinations for visitors from near and far.
Representative Click is proud to highlight a few notable tourism destinations and community favorites in his district:
“Ohio’s 88th district is replete with attractions engaging tourists from near and far. Seneca County boasts of the historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Tiffin as well as adventures in the Seneca Caverns, known as ‘the Caviest Cave in the U.S.A!’ Then in Fostoria, you’ll find a 5.6-acre Iron Triangle that attracts railroad aficionados from around the world.
“Sandusky County boasts of its Historic Barn Mural Trail, which features seven barn murals spread across 40 scenic miles, featuring one of Ohio’s five America 250 Barns. Then in Fremont, the 25-acre estate of Rutherford B. Hayes proudly claims the title as the nation's first Presidential Library and Museum. Nature enthusiasts and thrill seekers, however, rush to Goul Runnings Kayak Adventurers nestled along the scenic Sandusky River with access to the Fremont Reservoir.
“These attractions and more make Ohio’s 88th district the destination spot for those who want to explore the Heart of it All.”
