Rep. Click Highlights Ohio Statehouse Transportation Grant Program

COLUMBUS – State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) today announced that the application for the Ohio Statehouse Transportation Grant will be open September 4 until September 13 at 11:59 p.m. 

“Civics education is essential to good government, and there is nothing better than a hands-on experience at the Statehouse,” said Rep. Click. “I encourage each school to apply and bring their students to the Statehouse.” 

The Capitol Square Review and Advisory Board (CSRAB) will award 180 grants to schools across Ohio, helping cover the cost of school bus transportation to the Ohio Statehouse and its museum. Grants will be awarded evenly among three categories based on one-way travel from the applicant's school to the Ohio Statehouse:  

• 0 to 50 miles (60 grants)
• 51 to 100 miles (60 grants)
• 101+ miles (60 grants)
   

Only schools that receive state funding are eligible to apply.
