Click Announces Over $335,000 for Terra State Community College

State Rep. Gary Click (R-Vickery) announces a total of $338,598 has been awarded to Terra State Community College through the Campus Safety Grant Program, which was approved by the State Controlling Board on Monday. Click supported the funding through legislation at the Statehouse. 

“I’m happy when I get the chance to announce how these important funding bills are directly and positively impacting our communities,” Click said. “This grant program will provide the funding necessary to provide more security and safety measures at Terra State Community College in Fremont, and I proudly support this measure.”

The funding for this initiative comes from House Bill 687, which Click cosponsored and supported on the House floor.

The Campus Safety Grant Program was established to make grants to state institutions of higher education for eligible security improvements that assist in improving the overall physical security and safety of buildings on public campuses throughout Ohio.

The next State Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for Dec. 12.
