Click Announces House Bill 578 Clears the Ohio House
COLUMBUS – State Representative Gary Click (R-Vickery) is pleased to report that House Bill 578 passed the Ohio House today, which would designate a portion of State Route 19 as The Teresa Miller-Martin 9/11 Memorial Highway.
Teresa was a 1974 graduate of Lakota High School who grew up in the small town of Millersville. After high school, Teresa went on to become a model for JC Penny. She moved on to the Post Office before accepting a position that led to her career in finance.
Ultimately, she accepted a job at Fort Belvedere. Shortly after, she joined her supervisor as they were moved to the Pentagon.
Teresa will always be remembered by her grace and kindness, her selfless love, deep faith, and passion for disco music. She loved her husband John dearly and took pride in their Victorian home that they shared. She was an active member of the Fredericksburg, Virginia local community and was a beloved Sunday school teacher. We lost 2,996 American lives during the horrible events of 9/11.
Teresa was one of the many individuals robbed of her life by perpetrators of pure evil. Naming a portion of State Route 19 in her honor is a small way of showing that we will never forget Teresa and those who perished on that terrible day.
