State Rep. Gail Pavliga (R-Portage County) spearheaded legislation establishing a suicide prevention and mental health crisis hotline, which unanimously passed through the Ohio House Wednesday. Pavliga, the sponsor of the bill, spoke to it on the House floor today.

Today, the Ohio House of Representatives concurred on Sub. House Bill 291. The bill has several road-naming bills within it including Pavliga’s House Bill 25, which designates a portion of Interstate Route 76 in Portage County as the "CPL Benjamin C. Dillon Memorial Highway."

The program is funded from House Bill 110, the state operating budget that was signed into law last year. Pavliga was a supporter of the bill and voted in favor of it in the Ohio House.
