Rep. Troy appointed to Attorney General's Elder Abuse Commission
COLUMBUS - State Rep. Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) announced today that he has been appointed to the Attorney General's Elder Abuse Commission by House Speaker Robert R. Cupp (R-Lima).
“I'm honored to be recognized for my commitment to elder justice, and I’m excited to work with my fellow commission members on keeping our seniors safe from the increasing prevalence of abuse, neglect, and exploitation," Rep. Troy said.
Established in 2009, the Attorney General's Elder Abuse Commission improves education, supports research, and raises awareness of the devastating effects of abuse, neglect, and exploitation of older Ohioans. The Commission provides a forum for strengthening elder justice throughout the state by identifying funding opportunities, programming needs, and comprehensive policy solutions.
