Rep. Troy announces STEM Scholarship available to Lake County High School students

COLUMBUS - State Rep. Daniel P. Troy (D-Willowick) announced today the Believe in Ohio STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering & Math) Scholarship.

"In the early 90s, I worked with Lake County local school superintendents to establish and fund an elementary school math and science center. I understand the crucial importance of encouraging our youth to explore science and related subjects, and I hope our young minds take advantage of this opportunity," said Rep. Troy.

The Believe in Ohio STEM Scholarship is available to junior and senior high school students with a demonstrated passion for science, technology, engineering, or math. Recipients will be awarded a $1,000 scholarship and recognized for their contributions to the STEM field.
