State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) announces the critical legislation, under House Bill 169, that provides significant grants to bars, restaurants and the lodging industry due to financial burdens placed on them by the pandemic passed within the Ohio House earlier today. Swearingen, a joint sponsor of the bill, spoke to it on the House floor.

State Reps. Thomas Hall (R-Madison Twp.) and D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) have drafted a letter to send to U.S. Department of Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen urging funding for townships across Ohio pertaining to the “American Rescue Plan Act.”
