State Representative DJ Swearingen (R-Huron) has introduced legislation to make Ohio’s marine industry more competitive and support local workers, businesses, and tourism.

COLUMBUS– State Representative D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) today commended the announcement of the Five Great Lakes Restoration Initiative (GLRI) grants, which totals nearly $3.6 million being used for work throughout the State of Ohio. 

New legislation co-sponsored by State Representative D.J. Swearingen would give local voters a say in the development of large-scale wind farms.

COLUMBUS –Speaker of the House Larry Householder (R-Glenford) recently named State Representative D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) Vice-Chair of the Aging and Long-Term Care Committee, which focuses on issues of importance to Ohio seniors. In addition, to his service on the Health and Civil Justice committees, Swearingen was tapped to serve on the State and Local Government committee.
