Rep. Swearingen Appointed Vice Chair of Judiciary Committee

COLUMBUS – State Rep. D.J. Swearingen (R-Huron) this week was appointed by Ohio House Speaker Matt Huffman (R-Lima) to serve as Vice Chairman of the House Judiciary Committee.

“I look forward to continuing to drive good legislation alongside the members of the Judiciary Committee and use my expertise as we consider legislation that impacts Ohio’s justice and legal systems,” said Swearingen. 

In addition to this role, Swearingen currently serves on the Arts, Athletics, & Tourism, Community Revitalization, and Public Insurance & Pensions Committees.
