Rep. Cockley's Bipartisan Legislation Regarding Missing People Database Passes House Floor

COLUMBUS — State Rep. Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) Wednesday celebrated the unanimous passage of bipartisan House Bill (HB) 217 from the Ohio House of Representatives. HB 217 mandates law enforcement agencies to enter information about missing persons into NamUs, a national database, within 30 days of a report being filed.

Reps. Cockley and Lett Introduce Legislation Regarding Data Center Water Consumption, Nondisclosure Agreements

COLUMBUS — State Reps. Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) and Crystal Lett (D-Columbus) Friday introduced legislation that would require data centers to report monthly and yearly water consumption and to prohibit data centers from including water consumption information in nondisclosure agreements with political subdivisions.

Reps. Rader, Cockley Named Ohio Conservation Champions by Ohio Environmental Council Action Fund

COLUMBUS – State Reps. Tristan Rader (D-Lakewood) and Christine Cockley (D-Columbus) this week announced that the Ohio Environmental Council (OEC) Action Fund has named them its Ohio Conservation Champions. This award recognizes Rep. Raders’s leadership as the ranking member of the House Energy Committee and Rep. Cockley’s continued advocacy for community health within the Agriculture Committee.
