Rep. Cecil Thomas announces committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly

COLUMBUS- State Rep. Cecil Thomas (D-Cincinnati) released the following statement today on his Ohio House of Representatives committee assignments for the 135th General Assembly:

“I am proud to continue the work I started in the Ohio Senate,” said Rep. Thomas. "I look forward to working with my colleagues in the House to continue to pass legislation that will improve the lives of Ohioans.”

Rep. Thomas will serve on the following committees:

· House Finance Committee

· Finance Subcommittee on Public Safety

· Criminal Justice Committee

· Homeland Security Committee, Ranking Member

· Pensions Committee

· State and Local Government Committee

· Joint Medicaid Oversight Committee
