Roemer Reaches Red Cross Donation Milestone
COLUMBUS –State Rep. Bill Roemer (R-Richfield) gave his tenth gallon of blood (80th pint) at a Red Cross blood drive at the Bath United Church of Christ last week.
To celebrate the occasion, Roemer was joined by Bath Township Trustees Sharon Troike, Sean Gaffney, Elaina Goodrich, and Township Administrator Vito Sinopoli. The CEO of Northeast Ohio Red Cross, Admiral Michael Parks, was also present to congratulate Roemer on his achievement.
“Over 20 years ago, I began to donate blood through the Red Cross. I am proud to reach this milestone and happy to think of all the people I have helped by donating blood,” said Roemer. “Just one donation can save up to three lives. Giving blood is a wonderful experience, and I would encourage everyone who can donate to do so.”
