State Rep. Adam C. Miller (D-Columbus) recently announced the Ohio Department of Education’s Summer Food Service Program is underway to ensure children ages eighteen and under receive free nutritious meals during the summer months when school is not in session.
Additionally, young adults ages nineteen through twenty-one that are currently enrolled in an Individualized Education Program (IEP) are also eligible to use the Summer Food Services Program. The program is free and there is no sign up required.

Adam Miller (D-Marble Cliff) was officially sworn in to the Ohio House of Representatives Tuesday as state representative for the 17th House District. Miller, elected to his first House term in November, will serve the people of parts of south and west Columbus, including Franklinton, the Hilltop, Valleyview, Franklin Township, Marble Cliff, Hamilton Township, and slivers of Grove City and Prairie and Jackson Townships.
“I am extremely humbled and honored to join the state legislature as a voice for the people of the seventeenth district,” said Miller. “I am ready to get to work on issues that matter most to our community, particularly helping our residents fight the opioid addiction crisis, expanding veterans’ services, creating better paying jobs for our citizens and providing more meaningful educational opportunities for our children.”
