COLUMBUS – Most Ohio workers and students would be empowered to refuse mandated COVID-19 vaccinations under legislation approved today by the Ohio House Health Committee.

Sarah Fowler-Arthur (R-Geneva-on-the-Lake) and State Reps. Adam C. Under current law, schools are only required to report when a teacher resigns under threat of termination or nonrenewal of a contract while under investigation.

The bill’s purpose is to prevent Big Tech companies from banning, blocking or discriminating against citizens based on ideological beliefs or viewpoints.

State Rep. Marilyn John (R-Richland County) announces approval of several local projects through the Ohio State Controlling Board. The measures include thousands of dollars for both OSU-Mansfield and the Mansfield Correctional Institution.

The House was successful in passing several pieces of legislation recently including empowering local communities on energy projects, allowing income tax credits for new farmers, and permanent registration for noncommercial trailers.
