COLUMBUS—State Representative Mark Romanchuk (R-Mansfield) presented a resolution on behalf of the Ohio House to the Little Buckeye Children’s Museum, recognizing them for being named the “Institution of the Year” by the Ohio Museum Association.

The Little Buckeye Children’s Museum, located in Mansfield, provides 28 hands-on interactive exhibits and boasts 50,000 annual visitors. The museum was chosen over other Ohio Museum Association members, including the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, COSI, and the Cleveland Art Institute. Fred Boll, the executive director of the museum accepted the award along with museum associates Suzanna Hammond and Hannah Bloir.

“It is always an honor to recognize the achievement of individuals and organizations from my district for their exceptional work,” said Rep. Romanchuk. “The Ohio House of Representatives congratulates the museum on a job well done!”

The “Institution of the Year” award is the highest honor given by the Ohio Museum Association for museums in the state of Ohio.
