COLUMBUS, OH – State Rep. Monica Robb Blasdel (R-Columbiana County) announces the City of Columbiana will receive $1,000,000 through the Roadwork Development Grant. The State Controlling Board approved the funding during their meeting on Monday.
“This significant investment is about creating jobs and growing our local economy,” said Robb Blasdel. Not only will the City of Columbiana see the benefits, but our region as a whole.”
The investment in Columbiana will create 14 full-time equivalent jobs and ensure 167 will be retained.
The Roadwork Development Grant is funded by the historic transportation budget that passed the legislature and was signed into law earlier this year.
The next State Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for December 18th.
