Oelslager Provides Legislative Update from Ohio House

COLUMBUS—Speaker Pro Tempore Scott Oelslager (R-North Canton) is pleased to announce the recent passage of multiple important pieces of legislation.
Each bill is highlighted below:
- Enter the Social Work Licensure Compact (90-2): Senate Bill 90 will join Ohio to the “Social Work Licensure Compact,” an interstate occupational licensure compact for social workers.
- Require schools adopt a policy regarding over-the-counter drugs (92-1): House Bill 70 will require local school districts to include over-the-counter medications in their school policy, along with the currently required policy for prescription medication.
- Regards the operation of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ohio (89-2): Co-sponsored by Oelslager, House Bill 77 will establish requirements and prohibitions governing the operations of unmanned aerial vehicles in Ohio.
- Regards drug trafficking, organized trafficking of persons (80-13): Co-sponsored by Oelslager, House Bill 230 will directly combat the drug and human trafficking crises in Ohio.
