Hillyer Appointed to CPAC's National Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Advisory Council

COLUMBUS— The Conservative Political Action Coalition (CPAC) recently appointed State Rep. Brett Hillyer (R-Uhrichsville) to serve on the National Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Advisory Council.

Hillyer will join council members in developing best practices and policy proposals aimed at increasing public safety through conservative justice system reforms. 

“One of my legislative priorities is ensuring widespread public safety through the lens of our justice system,” said Hillyer. “I am honored to serve on this council and work with esteemed colleagues from across the nation.”

“I am excited to see Ohio represented on this important council,” said Ohio House Speaker Jason Stephens (R-Kitts Hill). “Representative Hillyer is an expert on our criminal justice system and has a lot to bring to the table.”

The Conservative Political Action Coalition appointed five lawyers from across the nation to serve on the Prosecutors and Law Enforcement Advisory Council. The council is made up of law enforcement leaders with backgrounds at the federal, state, and local levels.
