Baldridge Named Chairman of Transportation and Public Safety Committee
COLUMBUS – Ohio House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) has announced that State Representative Brian Baldridge (R-Winchester) will serve as the Chairman of the Ohio House’s Transportation and Public Safety Committee. The committee has broad purview of transportation and public safety issues in the state.
"It is an honor to be chosen by the Speaker to lead this committee," said Baldridge. "I'm looking forward to working with my colleagues to advance legislation that will improve the lives of our fellow Ohioans."
Baldridge was also appointed to the House Finance Committee, which oversees the $65 billion state operating budget. Additionally, he will serve as a member of the House Agriculture and Conservation Committee.
“The members of the Ohio House are a talented group with extensive experience, knowledge and a passion for public service,” said House Speaker Bob Cupp. “I look forward to a robust committee process that results in good public policy for Ohio.”
