COLUMBUS – Today’s state job numbers showed that 31,000 more Ohioans are out of work than at this time last year. House Assistant Democratic Whip Dan Ramos (D-Lorain) released the following statement in response to the update on Ohio’s stalled economic recovery:
“Hundreds of thousands of Ohioans cannot find work yet Gov. Kasich imposes greater restrictions for out-of-work Ohioans in need of food assistance. Too many average Ohioans are struggling to get by while the GOP continues to invest in the affluent and cater to special interests. We need to grow our economy from the middle out. Trickle-down economic policies only hold Ohio back from an economic recovery.”
