COLUMBUS—Ohio House Minority Leader Allison Russo (D-Upper Arlington) issued the following statement regarding the Columbus City School impasse with Columbus Education Association over negotiations for safer working conditions for students and teachers:
“No matter your politics, we all believe in better and safer learning conditions for our children, and fair and safe working conditions for our teachers. Teachers and students deserve conditions that promote learning instead of worrying. Parents, educators and leaders want negotiations to resume. Our teachers, working families, and kids in every neighborhood deserve nothing less.”
