Speaker Cupp Supports Funding Projects Coming to James A. Rhodes State College
Funding for work at James A. Rhodes State College has been approved by the State Controlling Board, House Speaker Bob Cupp (R-Lima) announced today.
Cupp said the funding is important to the college, which is an integral part of the Lima area’s educational and workforce development efforts.
“James A. Rhodes State College does an outstanding job for the community,” Cupp said. “This funding is important to help further the goals of the college.”
The State Controlling Board approved $167,729 for the dental hygiene lab. The funding will be used for lab equipment replacements.
Also approved was $18,384 to purchase equipment for the Campus Safety Grant Program to improve on campus security and safety
The next Controlling Board meeting is scheduled for July 11.
